This is Sable's blog run by Sable's human (that would be me). Sable would like to tell her story about the horrific neglect and abuse suffered at the hands of a terrible person. And Sable's mom (aka the human) would like to thank all those that have reached out in support of Sable and our family. We cannot even begin to express our gratitude to everyone for the prayers and concern. It has truly touched me beyond words and without a doubt will be instrumental in Sable's recovery.

Getting attacked
I continue to be verbally attacked by ParadiseGoldenPuppies http://www.paradisegoldenretrievers.com/. This woman continues to post on this blog with very rude comments defending Heather's abuse. She has admitted to being Heather's friend. She also breeds dogs. What kind of breeder, given this proof, would condone the actions of Heather? Maybe one who believes this type of neglect and abuse are acceptable things to do to animals. I would say anyone considering one of her dogs should probably think about that. An ethical breeder would never condone the actions let alone make excuses and spread lies for a breeder like Heather Goerdt especially when given documented proof and pictures.

I am sure that I am not alone in wondering that if a breeder is defending the condition that Sable was sent to you, what does that say about THAT breeder's practices?
ReplyDeleteThe photos of Sable show a very emaciated sickly cat... the documentation from the vet demonstrate how sick the cat was on arrival. It's hard to see how that can be justified, unless one's standards of animal care are less than the average person...?
As a Savannah breeder, I will never never recommend her nor even consider any of her cats. She told me last year she was selling her F1 because she didn't have time because her hobby was dressage now that took up a lot of her time. Apparently?! So why hasn't she quit breeding since she doesn't have time to take care of her cats. Fleas and tapeworms are easy fix for someone who dumps the kind of coin into a hobby like dressage. I couldn't afford it! Sad. I hope she takes better care of her horses.
