Response to Heather Goerdt Gulf Coast Exotic Felines Bad Breeder posting on her blog

Heather posted a picture of a document she received from the Florida Department of Agriculture stating the case I filed against her is closed.  In displaying this document, she has stated that they investigated her and have deemed her cattery "legal".  Specifically she said:

"The FDA officially investigated, deemed it legal, and cancelled the case (siding with me after I submitted evidence).  There is no evidence to support her claims of abuse, etc and, in full accordance with Fl law,  I had already contacted her to offer a settlement and/or replacement.
Ultimately, after investigation by every single party, all of the official "complaints" were droppedI was also inspected and my animals are healthy and happy. "

Again, this is a total misrepresentation and lie.  The Pet Law Complaint handled by the Florida Department of Agriculture is a totally voluntary process.  They do NOT have power of enforcement.  They are simply nothing more than a mediator when it comes to resolving pet law complaints.  They can do nothing more than mail a complaint to the seller and will deliver their response if provided.  If the seller chooses not to respond, they can do nothing.  If the seller chooses to respond and refuses to resolve the situation, they can do nothing.

After seeing Heather's post and knowing that the "FDA" can do nothing let alone "side" with one party or deem anything "legal" let alone "healthy and happy".  I contacted the same party that wrote Heather the FORM letter, Teresea Brown, that she displays and informed her of Heather's claims about the FDA and to get clarification.  They did not investigate Heather.  They do not "side" with her based on anything let alone her letter and NO evidence that she sent them.  They did not deem her cattery "legal".  They did not deem her cattery "healthy and happy".  Here is Teresea Brown's response along with the email headers to go with it:

As far as Animal control goes, nothing with them is closed.  They have not inspected her or the cats.  Before they could, she fled her Indian Head address and the house is now vacant.  They are looking for her and they do want to see the cats.  As of my last conversation with the Cpl in charge of the investigation, the case is not closed and she is "on their radar".  They are sending me a statement of this.

Heather likes to call what happened to Sable a "temporary URI".  A temporary URI does not cost $1997.65 at the vets.  I don't see any point in debating this one, the medical evidence clearly shows this to be another lie.

I contacted Heather within 3 days via Paypal.  They sent her an email immediately (she NEVER answers her phone).  Heather's contract does not require that I contact her within 3 days only that Sable had to go to the vet within 3 days and she went immediately almost dead.

As far as the certified letter goes, I had no idea who it was from.  The post office does not put on the notice who it is from.  How does my lack of picking up a certified letter justification for her not making restitution?  She claims that it was an apology and settlement offer.  Why not post that?  Because it does not exist and that is not what was in that letter!  Why doesn't she post the apology and settlement offer?
